Is seating assigned or first-come?
Seating is first-come, first-served for each session. Early arrival is strongly advised, as seating preference cannot be guaranteed once doors open.
What time should I arrive?
We strongly recommend arriving 45–60 minutes before your session start time.
This allows enough time for:
• Ticket scanning
• Seating (first-come, first-served)
• Settling in before the performance begins
Late arrival may result in delayed entry or limited seating options.
How long is each performance?
Each session lasts approximately 60–75 minutes of continuous live music.
Are the candles real?
For safety and comfort, all candles are high-quality flameless (plastic) candles, carefully styled to create a warm candlelit atmosphere.
Is this event suitable for proposals?
Yes — by arrangement only.
Candle & Strings offers a limited proposal package, carefully designed to ensure proposals are seamless and do not disrupt the concert experience.

How many proposal slots are available?
Only three (3) proposal slots are available for the entire evening.
This limit ensures:
• Proper coordination
• Discreet timing
• High-quality coverage
• Minimal disruption to the performance
Once all three slots are booked, no additional proposals will be accommodated.

What is included in the proposal package?
The proposal package includes:
• Coordination by the Candle & Strings team
• A designated proposal moment
• Professional photographer
• Videographer
• Microphone access for the proposal
All proposal moments are planned and executed by our team to preserve the flow and intimacy of the concert.

Can I propose without booking the proposal package?
No.
Uncoordinated or spontaneous proposals are not permitted during the concert, as they may disrupt the performance and other guests’ experience.
Guests who attempt to propose without an approved package do so at their own risk.

What happens if someone attempts to propose without approval?
For the safety and comfort of all guests:
• Security may intervene
• The proposal may be interrupted or stopped
• Candle & Strings will not be responsible for any disrupted or incomplete proposal

How do I secure a proposal slot?
Proposal slots must be purchased in advance via the proposal package listed on the website and are subject to availability.
Is food or drinks included?
No. This is a seated live music concert experience.
Food and drinks are not included.
The experience is designed to be enjoyed before or after your Valentine’s dinner.
Why aren’t food and drinks included?
Candle & Strings is a concert-style listening experience where the music and atmosphere are the focus.
To preserve sound quality, flow, and immersion, food and drink service is intentionally excluded during the performance. This allows guests to remain present and fully engaged with the music.
Many guests pair the concert with dinner plans
before or after the performance.
What should I wear to the event?
Dress Code
Candle & Strings is a formal evening concert.
Elegant evening wear is required.
Appropriate attire includes:
Women
• Midi or floor-length dresses
• Structured cocktail dresses
• Elegant jumpsuits
• Heels or refined evening flats
Men
• Suits or tailored blazers
• Dress shirts with trousers
• Loafers or dress shoes
Casual attire (including shorts, flip-flops, slides, or everyday streetwear) will not be permitted.
Guests are encouraged to dress for a refined, candlelit evening experience.
What kind of music will be performed?
The string quartet will perform 22 carefully curated songs, including:
• Classic love songs
• Modern Nigerian love songs
• International romantic favorites
All performed live, instrumentally.
How do I receive my ticket after purchase?
Once your purchase is complete, your ticket is automatically issued digitally.
You will receive:
• A confirmation email
• A digital ticket with a QR code
Your ticket can be accessed directly from your email and does not need to be printed.
How will my ticket be checked at the venue?
At the entrance, our team will scan the QR code on your ticket for entry.
You may present your ticket either:
• On your phone, or
• As a printed copy
Both digital and printed tickets are accepted, as long as the QR code is clearly visible and scannable.
What if I don’t receive my ticket email?
Please check your spam or promotions folder first.
If you still cannot find your ticket, contact us using the details on the website and we will assist you promptly.
Is the Preferred (Couple) ticket the only ticket for two people?
Yes.
The Preferred (Couple) ticket admits two guests with one ticket.
All other ticket categories are priced per person.
Does the Preferred (Couple) ticket fall under the Preferred seating section?
Yes.
Preferred (Couple) tickets are seated within the Preferred seating area.
If I book VIP, can I get front-row seats?
VIP seating is first-come, first-served, so front-row seats cannot be guaranteed. For first or second row seating, Platinum VIP is recommended.
Will there be other editions after Valentine’s Day?
Future editions may be announced.
However, this Valentine’s Day performance is a standalone experience and will not be repeated in the same format.
